Next Meeting

The next meeting is May 14th, 5:30 pm.
Meet us at the library. We are always looking for new members!
We will be discussing what to purchase for the library based on the director requests, upcoming fund raising efforts and more! When attending the meeting, we would love it if you would bring a food item to donate to our Library Food Pantry (but it is not a requirement).

Upcoming Friends Events

Townwide Yard Sale & Book Sale – May

  • Date: Saturday, May 16th (no rain date) – BookSale pre-sale Friday night before 5-8
  • Time: 9:00-2:00
  • Cost: $10 to be added to the town map so that shoppers can find you!
  • Payments accepted now via cash, check to Friends of Ashby Library, CashApp or PayPal.
  • Please email friendsofashbylibrary@gmail.com with your address and types of goods you’re offering (if you want that noted)
  • NOW ACCEPTING BOOK DONATIONS! Please bring them to the library during open hours.

Ashby Fest

It’s back on June 13th! 9:00-3:00.
We are still taking vendors at this point!

Library Food Pantry

The food pantry is located in the foyer at the side entrance of the library.
It is self-service and available any time the library is open.
No proof of residency or eligibility is required—everyone is welcome to take what they need.

Monetary Donations are Accepted for the Food Pantry!
The Friends are able to accept cash and check donations specifically for the Food Pantry.
If writing a check, please make it out to Friends of the Library and write “food pantry donation” in the memo line.

About Us

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, whose goals are to encourage the use of library services and spotlight the value of the Library in the life of our community. We strive to extend our library’s capacity through dollar gifts, volunteerism and program support. Become a Friend of the Library. No experience is required.

You pick your level of involvement:
