Time: 2:00 pm

Chair yoga offers modified yoga poses so that they can be done while seated in a chair. These modifications make yoga accessible to people who cannot stand or lack the mobility to move easily from standing to seated to supine positions. In addition to a good stretch, chair yoga participants can also enjoy other health benefits of yoga, including improved muscle tone, better breathing habits, reduction of stress, better sleep, and a sense of well-being. Join Yoga instructor Roberta Flashman for this free program each week at the library.

Winter Hibernation with Hands on Nature! How do your favorite animals spend the winter? Come find out, as we learn about how animals look for shelter during the coldest months of the year. We wil learn about hibernation, how animals spend the winter, and the amazing adaptations animals have for surviving through the harshest temperatures in NEw England.
