Random acts of kindness are perfect activities for children to increase their understanding of the importance of thinking and caring for others without receiving a tangible or immediate reward. Studies have shown that acts of kindness are good for your health by increasing your sense of belonging and self-worth —so give your child an all-natural self esteem boost with the Kind Kids Club! Help spread positivity and make kindness the norm by joining Successfully Social at the Ashby Library on February 13th to become a kindness ambassador!

Winter Hibernation with Hands on Nature! How do your favorite animals spend the winter? Come find out, as we learn about how animals look for shelter during the coldest months of the year. We wil learn about hibernation, how animals spend the winter, and the amazing adaptations animals have for surviving through the harshest temperatures in NEw England. Bring a stuffed animal and create a cozy little hibernation den to take home! Age appropriate for children 4+ This is a free event made possible by the Friends of the Ashby Library.
